Marks & Spencer’s sandwiches will be heading for Paris on Eurotunnel next week when the retailer returns to the city after a 10-year absence.

M&S’s 14,000 sq ft shop on the Champs-Élysées, due to open on Thursday, will be mostly dedicated to women’s fashion. However, the shop will also receive daily Eurotunnel deliveries of fresh food from the UK.

The food will largely consist of sandwiches and salads, as well as classic English groceries and M&S favourites such as tea, biscuits and Percy Pigs.
