Morrisons has announced it is ramping up the rewards from its More Card, with points to be earned from every purchase in supermarkets, online and c-stores.

The loyalty card scheme has until this week offered customers the chance to build up points on selected products in store, but Morrisons said after a successful trial in Wales it has extended the scheme across its whole range.

It said customers would now be able to build their rewards and earn Morrisons Fivers faster, with the fivers awarded for every 500 points.

Morrisons relaunched the More Card in May last year promising it would bring a “radical “ overhaul of loyalty at the supermarket.

The supermarket also announced today that customers would receive 50 points when they buy any Morrisons The Best product throughout December.

Loyalty scheme offers will be signposted in stores, at shelf edge and via in-store radio, with the latest deals also communicated through the Morrisons More app and customer emails sent to More Card holders.

“We wanted to give customers even more bang for their buck when they shop with Morrisons, and now they’ll earn More points on everything they buy,” said Morrisons group marketing director Alex Rogerson.

“We remain committed to driving value for our customers however they shop with us, making it easier than ever to bag a Morrisons Fiver and save big while you shop.”
