Morrisons took ownership of the millionth Ford Focus to be sold in the UK at the British International Motor Show in London this week.
The car, which runs on bio-ethanol or petrol, will be used as part of a fleet of company cars but will also fill up at one of Morrisons' ten forecourts that sell the renewable fuel - which is the first of its kind in the UK.
Meanwhile, Morrisons is to relaunch its Business Fuel Card this September in a bid to substantially increase its market share in the sector.
The new card would be the first in the UK to be accepted on all Europay Mastercard and Visa systems as well as being Chip & PIN compatible, said a spokesman.
