Morrisons' store in High Wycombe has scooped this week's Top Store award for the third time, thanks to excellent customer service and availability.

Our shopper was impressed by the clean and tidy store that had no packing trolleys or shelf-stackers to hinder her as she made her way around the shop.

She said staff were helpful when asked for assistance and all members she spoke to were in uniform with name badges on.

The checkout staff greeted her politely and 16 of the 20 checkouts were open, so she did not have to queue long.

The store also provided a full basket in a week when four retailers did not.

Data from CACI indicates that Morrisons is the fifth most suited retailer to the local demographic, with Sainsbury's the most suited to the area.

Store manager Henri Henriques has worked for Safeway and then Morrisons for 35 years and has been in charge of the 25,000 sq ft High Wycombe store for three years.

Henriques attributed the store's success to the hard work of his staff. "This is the best hat trick I have had and I'm a football fan," he said.

"The last time we won the Top Store award was six months ago. Everyone at the store works with each other to achieve the best results that we can and I feel this proves that."
