Cawston Press has appointed Kat Jones as marketing director.
Jones joined the business this month from her previous role as marketing director and business unit lead for ice cream at General Mills.
An fmcg industry veteran, Jones has 20 years’ experience working in marketing and sales roles at the likes of Britvic, Miller Brands (Asahi UK) and Diageo.
She will report to Cawston Press MD Steve Kearns.
Kearns said her appointment reflected the business’ “ambitions to grow Cawston Press into a well-known, much-loved brand in the UK”.
It comes after the brand recently launched a £500k marketing campaign promoting its sparkling drinks – its biggest investment to date.
Jones said she was “delighted” to be “joining at a really momentous and exciting time for the brand”.
Cawston Press had “huge potential” and had “shown strong resilience through the pandemic with impressive sales growth”, Jones added.
