Glennans has launched what it claims is the first vegetable crisp multipack at Waitrose.
They contain three packets of mixed vegetable crisps, two packets of parsnip crisps seasoned with sea salt and cracked black pepper, and a packet of beetroot crisps (rsp: £2.99).
Glennans said the pack offered mums a high-fibre alternative to crisps for kids. "Parsnips, sweet potato and plantain are hardly kids' favourites but we hope the multipack will make exotic veg more accessible," said brand manager Richard Thompson.
