What was your first job? Assistant at my local newsagent. I used to read all the foodie magazines.
What’s been your worst job interview? Perhaps Real Handful when Joe, my husband and co-founder, told me about the pay cut, lack of benefits and higher stress levels of the job.
What was the first music single you bought? Let’s Get Ready to Rhumble by PJ & Duncan.
How do you describe your job to your mates? A bit of everything! From packing samples, to managing our accounts, writing customer presentations, strategy and new product development.
What is the most rewarding part of your job? Everything you do matters and contributes to our mission to help more people eat better snacks.
What is the least rewarding part? Packing boxes, which involves my nemesis… the Sellotape gun.
What is your motto in life? Live life for the moment and don’t be afraid to take a leap of faith.
If you were allowed one dream perk, what would it be? A personal chef. They would be available for breakfast, lunch and dinner (I’ve got snack time covered already!).
Do you have any phobias? I’m not good around open water.
If you could change one thing in grocery, what would it be? More support for startups post-product listing to drive trial and awareness. Consumers love hearing the stories behind new and healthier brands.
What luxury would you have on a desert island? A Nespresso machine (and caramel syrup).
What animal most reflects your personality? A monkey - intelligent, nimble, fun, enjoys life and being with friends.
What’s your favourite film? I love all the Disney remakes, particularly Beauty and the Beast.
What has been the most embarrassing moment in your life? No single moment springs to mind but my kids do tend to regularly embarrass me when I’m out with them.
Which celebrity would you most like to work with and why? I would love to work with Jamie and Jimmy and visit their Friday Night Feast restaurant on the pier. I love their campaigns - and obviously their food.
What would your death row meal be? My sister’s roast dinner with all the trimmings.
