What was your first-ever job? I worked for my parents from a young age as a ‘secretary’, as they felt it was important for me to learn the value of money.
What’s been your worst job interview? I don’t think I’ve had a bad interview. If I haven’t got the job, at least I’ve learnt something!
What was the first music single you bought? It was Michael Jackson. I can’t remember which song it was, but I remember thinking it was cool to have a CD of his.
How do you describe your job to your mates? As the best job ever! I get to work with an amazing team of people, plus I get to go out and meet loads of new people to tell them all about Jose Cuervo.
What is the most rewarding part of your job? Getting to talk about my home country, Mexico, and teaching the public about the real Mexico and the rich heritage it has to offer.
What is the least rewarding part? To be honest, I really enjoy every part of my job.
What is your motto? Do everything you can to support your family and follow your dreams.
If you were allowed one dream perk what would it be? I would love to have a car that can drive itself, so I can get to meetings without going on the Tube, and I could do my make-up on the way!
What’s your favourite movie and why? I love old-school Mexican movies, particularly those starring Jorge Negrete and Pedro Infante. The movies normally have quite a predictable ending, but I like them for their fantastic music, and romantic feel. The men in the films are true gentlemen; they always sing a serenade to the woman they’re in love with.
If you could pick a celebrity to join your staff who would it be and why? I’d choose a comedian to keep us entertained. I have so many favourites though, I couldn’t pick just one!
If you could change one thing in grocery what would it be? I’d remove all the artificial ingredients in products and keep everything natural.
What luxury would you have on your desert island? It would have to be Jose Cuervo Tequila, lime and salt to help me relax. I’d want my husband there too of course!
What animal best reflects your personality and why? A Labrador dog, as they’re playful, loyal and always happy.
