What was your first-ever job? A summer job working as a cook in a kids outdoor pursuits centre on the Gower.
What was your worst job interview? An internal one, in a marketing company I worked for years ago. I was picked to try for a sales position in our Paris office and we had to do a dummy sales pitch. I turned into a hand-wringing wreck and could see our trainer with his head in his hands!
What was the first music single you bought? Greg Lake’s ‘I Believe in Father Christmas’.
How do you describe your job to your mates? I’m doing the sales and marketing for an organic milk company, which makes the UK’s first organic and naturally flavoured milk drinks.
What is the most rewarding part of your job? Selling Daioni at food shows and getting told how much people love it, and how their kids now buy it by the caseload since they left home.
What is the least rewarding part? Form-filling.
What is your motto in life? Go for it!
If you were allowed one dream perk what would it be? A transportable spa (pool, sauna, steamroom, jacuzzi) that magically expands ready for use whenever I want.
What’s your favourite movie and why? Howl’s Moving Castle - amazing story, animation and music. Totally brilliant.
What has been the most embarrassing moment in your life? Maybe the first time I rode a moped. I took a left turn too wide and ended up shooting down the pavement on the wrong side of the road headed for a woman pushing a pram there were many witnesses.
If you could pick a celebrity to join your staff who would it be and why? Johnny Depp ticks all my boxes.
If you could change one thing in grocery what would it be? How manufacturers develop relationships with buyers.
What luxury would you have on your desert island? A fully equipped kitchen complete with my favourite foods, a wide range of musical instruments and a recording studio next to the fridge.
What animal best reflects your personality and why? A meerkat, because I’m sociable, intelligent, determined, imaginative, occasionally stroppy, cuddly, and have a good sense of humour - according to my son Theo!
