What was your first-ever job? Weeding my grandfather’s garden during the school holidays.

What was the first music single you bought? Europe, The Final Countdown. I still love this song, especially the guitar solo.

How do you describe your job to your mates? They are most interested in the celebrity part of my job they want to know if Jack Black is as funny as he is in his movies. He really is!

What is the most rewarding part of your job? To see products I developed in stores, and of course the smiles on people’s faces when they eat our chocolate.

What is the least rewarding part? During the development process there is a lot of administration work.

What is your motto in life? The more I learn, the more I realise I don’t know.

What’s your nickname? Most of my friends just call me Stef.

If you were allowed one dream perk what would it be? There are so many perks in my job from travelling the world, working with celebrities and working with chocolate, I’m already pretty lucky.

What’s your favourite movie and why? Since I was little boy I have been a huge James Bond fan. The older ones with Sean Connery are still my favourites.

What has been the most embarrassing moment in your life? I was at the business lounge at the airport in LA. I served myself with a small bottle of Champagne from the bar. But somebody must have shaken the bottle beforehand, so you can imagine the sound and the mess after my attempt to open it.

Do you have any phobias? I don’t like spiders.

If you could pick a celebrity to join your staff who would it be and why? Roger Federer, because he already knows a lot about working with chocolate and he is a normal, down-to-earth person.

If you could change one thing in grocery what would it be? A quality standard that works for the whole food industry.

What luxury would you have on your desert island? A sunbed, my iPod, GQ and a mojito.

What animal best reflects your personality and why? I’d like to say a wild tiger, but probably a chimpanzee would fit better, as he is social, hangs out with friends and likes bananas.
