What was your first-ever job? Graduate sales and marketing executive working for pork manufacturer Tulip.
What’s been your worst job interview? Arriving in Bristol for a marketing interview, with very little information provided about the role. I was driven to the suburbs of Bristol by the sales team, dropped off and asked to sell electricity door to door - not what I was expecting!
What was the first music single you bought? Do the Bartman by Bart Simpson (on vinyl).
How do you describe your job to your mates? I work at an organic children’s food company. We make really good, tasty, healthy organic food - that’s clearly labelled - for babies and toddlers.

What is the least rewarding part? Admin, but we all have to do it, it’s just part of the job.

If you were allowed one dream perk, what would it be? To have regular cookery lessons with a celebrity chef to increase my knowledge of using real ingredients to create great food.
Do you have any phobias? Dill - the herb.
If you could change one thing in grocery, what would it be? I would like labelling to be clearer, giving product provenance and banishing misleading ingredient information.
What luxury would you have on a desert island? A spice rack, as you can turn the most boring meal into a taste sensation with herbs and spices.
What animal most reflects your personality? A seagull, it’s always seeking opportunities and loves the coast.
What’s your favourite film? The Beach - it inspired me to visit the beach itself in Thailand.
What was the most embarrassing moment in your life? Appearing on the TV show Blind Date - a mix of proud and embarrassed!
Which celebrity would you most like to work with? Jimmy Doherty. He’s a great ambassador for real food and I am a big fan of the campaigns he’s run and his food shows.
