Soft drinks startup Energy One is entering the market with a duo of energy drinks.
Both drinks contain four essential B vitamins – B3, B5, B6 and B12 – with “no metallic aftertaste”.
The Original variant provides 250 calories per can, while Lite weighs in at 50 calories. They will launch in July 2022 (rsp: £1.50/250ml).
The NPD would appeal to millennial shoppers who were seeking out “food and drink with added functional benefits”, said Energy One.
Energy One co-founder Marion Barnaby said: “We wanted to create a brand with a trusted flavour profile and energy output but with a personality that was distanced from the abrupt and abrasive imagery championed by today’s incumbent offerings.”
For every can sold, a donation will be made to Racing Heroes, a motorsport-themed cause for disabled and wounded veterans.
The drinks join a raft of recent launches into the energy drinks sector.
Take Nexba, which last month added a duo of natural energy drinks with prebiotics to its lineup.
Relentless, too, added a duo of new energy drinks last month under its new Zero Sugar range.
