The Kylie Minogue wine brand is hoping to challenge Freixenet with a new sparkling rosé prosecco.
The drink (11%) is billed as having “notes of fresh strawberries, raspberries and blossom” and as being “brightly textured”. It is housed in a bottle debossed with love hearts (rsp: £12/750ml).
The wine was sourced from the Zonin Estate in Veneto.
It will hit Tesco, Morrisons and Harvey Nichols.
It brings the brand’s lineup of rosé wines to three, joining its Cotes de Provence 2020 rosé, and a Signature Rosé on shelves.
The star partnered with Benchmark in 2020, becoming the latest in a series of celebrities to roll out signature wines with the supplier. whose roster also includes the likes of cricketer Ian Botham and TV presenter Graham Norton.
Benchmark said the Kylie brand had already sold over one million bottles since launch.
Minogue said she “had been incredibly touched by the joy our wines have brought to so many people in the last year”.
