Premium yoghurt maker Nomadic Dairy has introduced a limited-edition Honeycomb & Chocolate variant to its four-strong Yogurt & Oat Cluster lineup.
Launching in Sainsbury’s, Spar, Nisa, Costcutter and Boots, the NPD (rsp: £1.55/169g) is part of a rolling programme of limited-edition flavours throughout the year by the Irish brand and could yet become a permanent fixture, it said.
The latest SKU, which joins the existing Blackcurrant & Blueberry, Strawberry, Raspberry and Chocolate flavours, would satisfy three ongoing and complementary consumer demands – indulgence, health and comfort – it added.
“Our Yogurt & Clusters range has been a runaway success for years now, but our market research recently found that customers wanted to see new flavours,” said Bethan Miles, brand manager at Nomadic Dairy.
“It therefore, made sense to create this deliciously indulgent limited edition – especially given the high demand for such flavours across all food categories.”
The news comes just two months after Nomadic Dairy was snapped up by two investment firms in a €29m (£24.9m) deal.
BiaVest will hold 54% of the County Donegal-based producer, while Development Capital has taken the remaining share.
