The brand said it wanted to cash in on “an untapped sweet spot”

Soft drinks startup Sipling Beverage Company has debuted with a six-strong range of alcohol-free RTD cocktails.

The brand’s drinks use a blend of natural ingredients it said “recreate the sophisticated flavours, familiarity and sense of occasion of several of the world’s most popular cocktails”.

The range comprises Bellini, Gin & Tonic, Moscow Mule, Mojito, Old Cuban and Spiced Rum & Cola cocktails (rsp: £2.50/250ml).

They roll into independent retailers and the on-trade from November.

It’s the latest in a swathe of non-alcoholic launches. The past three months alone have seen the likes of botanical beer alternative Zag Drinks and The Original Free Drinks Company – which launched its own range of alcohol-free RTD cocktails, called Highball, last month – hit the market.

Brits splashed out an extra £26m on low and non-alcoholic drinks over the past year, equivalent to an additional 10 million litres [Kantar 52 w/e 14 July 2019].
