SodaStream has unveiled a “next generation” range of sparkling water machines.
The brand has created a tiered range of machines – called Art, Terra and Duo – designed to “elevate the everyday water experience”.
The Art machine introduces a carbonation lever so shoppers have the ability to choose their own carbonation level (rsp: £139.99), while Duo is compatible with both reusable plastic bottles and glass bottles (rsp: £164.99).
Glass bottles were previously available with SodaStream’s Crystal machine, but that machine did not work with plastic bottles.
The Terra, meanwhile, is billed as “an upgrade from the fan favourite Spirit machine”, offering “a slicker design with a beautiful mix of textures” (rsp: £109.99).
Each machine comes in a choice of a Chic Black or Classic White finish. They will roll out via the brand’s website and retailers including Amazon, John Lewis and Argos from 6 June.
SodaStream UK & Ireland MD Tiago Alves said the trio of machines “allow for a completely personalised water experience, whilst helping people lead an environmentally friendly lifestyle”.
The brand was “expecting great excitement and high demand for the new range, especially as it is such a significant innovation”, Alves added.
The MD also revealed there were “certainly conversations in the making and we hope to share exciting news” when it came to securing grocery listings.
