Burgundian wine brand Blason de Bourgogne has launched the first two wines in its minis range.
Its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay variants will be available in Tesco from the middle of next month in 25cl bottles, priced at £1.99 each, as well as the standard 75cl versions. The wines are all produced by Cave de Buxy, based in the Côte Chalonnaise region.
Export director Marc Vachet said: "With a brand such as Blason it is important to keep coming up with innovative ideas to boost sales and keep it fresh and exciting. The Blason minis seemed like a good idea and initial feedback from retailers has been positive."
