The free magazines of supermarket chains Safeway, Asda and Somerfield all increased circulation, with Safeway taking the lead with 1,804,990 copies according to the latest ABCs.
Of the paid for titles, Sainsbury's: The Magazine sold a total of 361,609 copies, down 1% year on year, while Waitrose Food Illustrated sold 241,636 down 2% on last year. BBC Good Food sold 322,614 up 7% year on year.
