Heinz is to broaden the spectrum of its US EZ Squirt tomato ketchup range with the launch of another colour. It is rolling out one million camouflaged bottles containing either pink, orange or teal (greeny-blue) sauce. Consumers won't know which colour they have until they squirt it onto their plate. Heinz will use consumers' reactions to determine which of the three becomes a permanent line. The news follows the arrival of Wicked Orange sauce in the UK last month, where it joined Eazy Squirt Tomato and Blastin' Green, launched in July 2001.
