Wine importer Bottle Green is building on the success of its Hungarian Riverview wine brand with the launch of a range of white wines from the same country.
The Via Cappella range originates from the family-owned Hungarian winery Hilltop Neszemely, based 70 kilometres from Budapest. Its vineyards are known for their loamy soil, which produces wines of a quality that rivals New World whites, according to Bottle Green.
The range consists of a Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and a Gewürztraminer. Prices of the different wines are between £4.50 and £4.99.
