Hardy's is extending its best selling Stamp of Australia range with the addition of a Cabernet Merlot which will be introduced this month.
This is the second red wine in the collection and is designed to balance the portfolio and respond to the increasing demand for red wines.
The move coincides with the roll over of the four existing wines in the Stamp range to the 2000 vintage.
The wines have the backing of a £1.3m advertising campaign which includes TV, press and cinema and hopes to reach 10 million people in the run up to Christmas.
The Cabernet Merlot will retail at £4.99.
