Oriental wholesaler and importer SeeWoo has launched two Christmas food hampers to cash in on the continuing trend for scratch cooking.
The Vietnamese and Chinese hampers (rsp £49.95) comprise a wok, chopsticks and specialist ingredients such as rice paper, yellow rock sugar and shrimp paste. They would take shoppers on a “gastronomic tour of the Far East”, said a spokeswoman.
The hampers also include recipe cards written by Uyen LeLuu, who runs a Vietnamese supper club. They will be distributed by SeeWoo and Clearwater Hampers.
