Australian wine brand Jacob’s Creek is introducing the St Hugo Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2002 to its Heritage range.
The Heritage portfolio - which also includes Steingarten Riesling and Centenery Hill Shiraz - is designed to be built up of super-premium, high quality, single varietal wines.
Patrick Venning, head of marketing for wines at brand owner Pernod Ricard, said: “The introduction of the Heritage range into the UK forms part of the global premiumisation strategy for the brand and provides a clear quality tier to the Jacob’s Creek range.
He added: “It will also help to enhance the Jacob’s Creek brand’s outstanding history, heritage and authenticity.”
St Hugo (rsp: £19.99) is vintaged entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grown in South Australian’s Coonawarra region, an area considered Australia’s best Cabernet-growing district.
