Within hours of the abolition of RPM, the major multiple grocers had unveiled plans to slash a selection of healthcare prices by up to 50%. At Asda, Anadin regular 16s were down from £1.75 to 87p, while other cuts included Rennie 24s reduced from £1.69 to £1.26 and 96s from £4.19 to £2.09. The multiple also slashed Sanatogen Gold 30s and 60s by 25%, and 90s by 50%. Safeway cut £1 off the price of the top 10 anti-histamine medicines used by hayfever sufferers. {{NEWS }}
