The consumer
'Wow' was the first word that sprung to mind when I took a sip of Vodka O. It has a lovely crisp and clean flavour similar to that of icy cold mountain water, but obviously with an alcoholic edge. I will definitely be keeping my eyes peeled for it in the shops, and in bars too. The packaging, modern and sharp, implies classiness, and I give this a full score - quite a feat as I am not that easy to please. Five stars (out of five)

The packaging looks great and I really like the idea of a chemical-free vodka. In a flooded market I believe it's key to offer something a bit different, rather than just another vodka. At less than £20, it's a fair price for a 40% premium vodka, and the smooth, clean taste will not leave consumers disappointed. I think this would work in some top bars and specialist retailers. The Grocer
Vodka is something I like to mix with ginger beer, but I decided to sample Vodka O neat and at room temperature. Because it claims to have the lowest methanol content on the market, I was anticipating an alcohol hit with none of the burn.
Being caught by my flatmate quaffing neat vodka wasn't my proudest moment but it was indeed easy to knock back. The design has nice details but doesn't stand out like Absolut or Finlandia, which sit in the same price bracket. Yes, it's smooth, but a little too understated. Three stars
