Spar and Landmark wholesaler AF Blakemore has welcomed two new finance directors.

Simon Loveland, a chartered accountant who has worked with KPMG, Rolls Royce and the ROM Group over the past 20 years, has joined as CFO. He will oversee day-to-day finance operations, including reporting and accountancy processes.

Chartered management accountant Julie Bevan has been appointed wholesale FD. Bevan spent 11 years at Poundland, where she led a finance team of about 40 people, before leaving to work as a self-employed financial consultant for six years. During this time she headed up projects for Marks & Spencer Jersey, and Holland & Barrett.

Group finance director Scott Munro-Morris said: “I am delighted to welcome Simon and Julie into these two critical roles and have every confidence in them.”
