AG Barr, the maker of Irn-Bru and Tizer, has said job losses will occur with its plans to close most of its Scottish sites, including its head office in Glasgow. It plans to consolidate operations from six sites into its Cumbernauld site in a bid to save £2.5m a year. Currently half of the company’s 1,000 staff are based in Scotland.
