Aldi has extended its sponsorship of ParalympicsGB to 2032, in an agreement that will take its partnership with the team to a decade long.
The discounter will support the athletes through the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games, Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games, French Alps 2030 Paralympic Winter Games and Brisbane 2032 Paralympic Games.
Aldi also sponsors Team GB, having done so for 10 years, during which it has used the partnership to reach more than three million children with ‘Get Set to Eat Fresh’, its school-based education programme about healthy eating. The programme is backed by ParalympicsGB and Team GB athletes and aims to help children aged five to 14 develop the skills required to cook nutritious, affordable meals.
“We’re proud to extend our partnership with ParalympicsGB through to the Brisbane 2032 Games,” said Aldi UK marketing director Kyrsten Halley. “This decade-long commitment reflects our shared values of inclusivity, determination and community.
“Together, we aim to inspire the next generation through initiatives like Get Set to Eat Fresh while supporting ParalympicsGB athletes in achieving their goals on the world stage.”
ParalympicsGB commercial director Jenny Seymour said: “Aldi has been a core partner of ParalympicsGB since 2022, so we are excited to be extending our partnership.
“This renewed commitment not only supports our incredible para athletes as they pursue their Paralympic dreams but also helps us inspire future generations to embrace the values of sport, wellbeing and healthy living. We’re looking forward to building on the impact we’ve made together and to achieving even more in the years ahead.”
