Aldi is once again offering free wine in exchange for reviews, in a repeat of an exercise it ran last year.
The discounter is looking for 10 shoppers to receive free bottles from its spring-summer wine range over three months, in exchange for social media reviews.
To be in with a chance of selection, shoppers must email winefluencerclub@aldi.co.uk with their full name, social media handle and proof of age in the form of a photo of their passport or driving licence. They must also say what their favourite Aldi wine is and why, and write 150 words explaining why they should be selected to join the ‘Winefluencer Club’.
Applications are open until 18 March.
“We’re embracing the changing world of wine,” said Aldi UK buying MD Julie Ashfield. “With the launch of our Winefluencer Club, we’re not just offering great wine, we’re creating a community where passionate wine lovers can share their thoughts on the range.
“It’s all about making wine something that everyone can enjoy, no matter their level of expertise.”
Wine influencer Liam D’Arcy said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for wine lovers – not only to taste Aldi’s amazing wine for free, but to develop their skills, grow their audience and help others discover top picks from the latest range.”
