Aldi has unveiled a new own-label gin brand inspired by botanicals.
The three-strong range, named Haysmith’s, will hit shelves this week.
The range has debuted in a trio of flavours inspired by “tropical climates”: Peach & Orange Blossom, Mango & Passionfruit and Seville Orange & Persian Lime (rsp: £15.99/70cl, 35.7% abv).
The retailer has also boosted its own-brand liqueur range Infusionists with five new spring flavours: Summer Trifle Gin Liqueur (rsp: £9.99/50cl), Raspberry & Watermelon Gin Liqueur (rsp: £9.99/50cl), Strawberry Lemonade Gin Liqueur (rsp: £11.99/50cl), Strawberry & Watermelon Crush Vodka Liqueur (rsp: £11.99/50cl) and Raspberry, Vanilla & Coconut Gin Liqueur (rsp: £11.99/50cl).
“With Aldi currently selling over an unimaginable 10 million bottles of gin every year, it is clear that the gin bubble has not popped and won’t be any time soon,” said an Aldi spokeswoman.
