Greenvale AP, the UK’s leading supplier of potatoes, has appointed Brian Macdonald as its new financial director.
Macdonald, who has worked for brewer Scottish & Newcastle for 25 years, most recently as finance director for developing markets, also joins the board of Greenvale AP’s parent company Produce Investments.
David Rankin, general manager of seed at Greenvale AP’s Seed Potato operation in Burrelton, has been promoted to procurement and seed director. Rankin has worked for the group for 14 years.
Trevor Dear assumes the role of operations director while continuing as commercial director. He has been behind many of Greenvale’s operational advances.
“The new appointments will add drive to our ambitions to fulfil our potential,” said chief executive Angus Armstrong.
