Doves Farm Foods is claiming to be the first flour miller to introduce the full list of ingredients on its packs. It has given its 14 flours a radical packaging makeover which includes highlighting each flour's role and its nutrient content. Marketing director Clare Marriage explained: "This information has never before been contained in the ingredients panel. We hope by doing it, it will encourage other flour millers to do the same." The company says the bread and flour regulations state that calcium carbonate, iron, vitamin B1 and nicotinic acid need to be added to all white flour, and that consumers have the right to know about these statutory nutrients. Doves Farm Foods has also extended its organic range with three new lines ­ pasta, rye and malthouse, a malted wheat flake flour. All will be available at an rsp of 99p for 1kg. {{P&P }}
