Grocery trade stalwart Dri-Pak is breaking with 150 years' tradition to package soda crystals in plastic bags for the first time.
The UK's only remaining manufacturer of the age-old cleaning product, which has been used by generations for heavy duty household cleaning, said the change was prompted by customers who complained that the old-style boxes became soggy. Rsp for the 1kg laminated, resealable bags, out this month, will be around 80p. The relaunch will be supported by press adverts.
