PepsiCo UK has appointed Angela White (above) to the role of commercial senior director - nutrition.
White previously worked for PepsiCo from 2004 to 2009, holding a range of account manager and customer business manager positions across the UK commercial teams, focusing on snacks and nutrition brands in retailers Morrisons and Tesco.
She re-joins from KP Snacks, where she was the director for retailer brands and general manager for nuts from 2013 to 2017. As a member of the company’s executive team, she played a significant role in developing the standalone KP Snacks business following its acquisition by Intersnack.
White began her career in grocery and retail in 1994 in Marks & Spencer’s store management programme. She joined United Biscuits in 2000 before moving to Douwe Egberts a year later. After her first stint with PepsiCo, she returned to UB as a trading controller and then a trading director, before taking a job with KP.
“Angela’s passion for brands and customers, and her infectious energy, will be a perfect match for the role,” said PepsiCo UK general manager Ian Ellington.
White will oversee the commercial performance of the PepsiCo UK nutrition portfolio, which includes Tropicana, Naked and Quaker. She was “excited to be coming back to PepsiCo after eight years away”.
“I look forward to once again having the opportunity to work alongside such a talented team as well as developing the great brands.”
