The recipe will be dairy-free to meet ‘consumer needs’, said the brand

Annabel Karmel has expanded its children’s ready meal range with a chicken katsu variant.

The NPD – Chicken Katsu Curry With Rice – is suitable for children, aged one-plus. It will join the brand’s eight-strong range of chilled meals for kids (rsp: £2.30/200g).

The recipe will be dairy-free to meet “consumer needs for products that support childhood allergies”, said Annabel Karmel.

The meal will roll into Sainsbury’s on 25 May, and into Tesco in June.
