Mike Boardman has been appointed managing director of Appleby Westward.
Boardman, who is currently trading director at fellow Spar wholesaler AF Blakemore, will take up the role in November.
He replaces current MD Mark McCammond, who will leave the business to become retail director of NI Spar wholesaler Henderson Group in September.

Mike Boardman’s appointment was handled by retail executive search specialists the Anthony Gregg Partnership.
