Aquafresh is hoping to raise a smile for Comic Relief with two million Red Nose Day branded packs.
From now to the end of March, 10p from the sale of every specially themed box within the Little Teeth, My Big Teeth and Complete Care ranges, will be donated to the charity.
Consumers are also being given the chance to win a ‘huffing, puffing, burping, singing’ Aquafresh Bonkers brush timer as part of an on-pack promotion.
“With an astounding 46% of eight-year-olds experiencing tooth decay in their primary teeth, it’s more important than ever for brands and retailers to work together to encourage good oral care habits from an early age,” said Katharine Osmond, Aquafresh senior brand manager.
“Our exciting partnership with Red Nose Day, our eye-catching branded packaging and on-pack promotion will create standout on shelf and in stores, and help to increase the demand of shoppers looking to make brush time more enjoyable for children with the help of ‘Snuffles’.
The dental care brand is the latest to team up with Red Nose Day, which takes place on 24 March. This week, PG Tips returned as an official Comic Relief partner, with the Unilever brand launching its #1MillionLaughs promotion. Mars Chocolate is aiming to raise £1m for the charity through its #bakeamillion drive, which will encourage Brits to take photos of their home-baked creations with a red nose theme. And Bel UK has renewed its partnership with Comic Relief by launching a limited-edition Mini Babybel range.
