Asda has launched a Best of Wales local choice range.
The range - available in Welsh stores from May 12 - consists of over 70 new food and drink products and 50 non-food lines sourced from 20 new suppliers across Wales.
Asda’s local sourcing manager Karen Todd said: “There is a sound business reason why retailers should take local products more seriously - we have estimated there is a £160m business opportunity each year.
“Local products have been the number one request from customers over the last year.”
Asda has already successfully launched the Best of Cornwall and the West Country range, the Best of the Lakes and Scotland’s Best.
