Howell House has secured a major deal to supply Asda with spooky Halloween treats.
The company, a division of Northern Ireland company Irwin’s Bakery, will distribute ‘Spooky Snowballs’ (rsp: £1 for a pack of nine) to 350 UK Asda stores as part of the supermarket’s ‘Chosen by You’ range.
The buns are a special Halloween version of the bakery’s popular ‘Snowy Joeys’.
Irwin’s national account manager Chris Moore said: “We’re delighted that the quality of our snowball range has been recognised again. We’re hoping to sell up to 100,000 packs of our delicious Spooky Snowballs in the run-up to Halloween and Bonfire Night.”
David Quigg, local buyer for Asda NI, added: “Only products which have been tried and tested by consumers get chosen to become part of Asda’s ‘Chosen by You range.”
