Asda is planning to roll out a four-strong range of branded micro herbs following a trial in 28 stores.

The fresh ‘And Sow On’ range, which comprises radish, celery, garlic chives and mustard leaves variants, went into Asda as a trial last month at 75p each or two for £1.

And Sow On was already popular with celebrity chefs such as Jamie Oliver, and sales so far had been strong, with radish the highest-selling line, closely followed by the garlic chives, a spokeswoman said.
