Asda has agreed a “long-term” deal with Home Delivery Network for the distribution company to deliver its non-food home shopping.
Home shoppers can now nominate their delivery date with any online purchase or arrange for collection from their local store.
HDN already delivers Sainsbury’s non-food items, having signed a similar deal with the supermarket earlier this year.
“This new service will provide our customers with the convenience of having products delivered either to store or to home on a day that suits them and their busy lives,” said Douglas Gurr, executive director of strategy for Asda.
