Asda staff claimed a trio of trophies at the Specsavers Everywoman in Retail Awards.
Emma Harris, head of commercial planning and reporting, was named Hidden Talent of the Year, while Fiona Briault, head of central operations for George, won Inspiration of the Year.
Wendy O’Bank was crowned Store Manager of the Year for turning around the Swanley store, which is now a regional leader for the supermarket.
“The biggest thing is that people have taken the time to recognise all of us that were nominated,” said Harris (pictured, second right).
“Asda has the same opportunities for women to progress and develop as the opposite sex.”
Asda put in a strong show at the awards, with its seven finalists comprising a third of the shortlist.
Everywoman, the women’s training group that organised the awards, said it received hundreds of nominations from across the sector.
