Asda is launching a campaign to attract students to shop at its stores as universities and colleges gear up for the start of the academic year.
One of the main planks of the campaign is sponsorship of a 16-page supplement, called Dish, to the Student Survival Guide, due for publication by the Independent newspaper at the beginning of September.
The supplement will consist of eight pages of editorial, including features on healthy eating and beauty, and eight pages of price promotions.
Helen Dawson, Asda’s event project manager, said: "Thanks to the Independent’s survival guide we have the opportunity to accurately and cost-effectively target new students."
For more, see this week's copy of The Grocer magazine, available from all good newsagents (issue dated August 30).
