Asda is set to double its number of photo centres before the end of 2003.
The news follows a survey released today highlighting the price differences when processing films.
The retail giant said that the new centres will ensure that no matter what format photos are taken in, APS, 35mm or digital, processing summer snaps at Asda’s photo centres won’t put customers out of pocket.
Asda’s photo centre development manager Mark Grayson said: “It takes no longer to develop an APS film than a standard 35mm, and - even less time to develop digital. That’s why Asda plays fair when it comes to processing prices.”
