Asda worker Jahmene Douglas has been installed as an early 11/2 favourite to win this year’s X Factor. Douglas, who works at Asda Swindon Haydon, warbled his way through Etta James’ classic ‘At Last’, receiving a standing ovation. Asda has thrown its weight behind Douglas, whose performance has received more than 6,000 likes on Asda’s Facebook page. His store manager said he was a “polite, nice human being with a good sense of humour”.
