Aston Manor has launched Chardolini, a competitively priced sparkling perry. The Midlands company, best known for its price fighting cider Frosty Jack, has won listing for the brand in cash and carries and independents and is in talks with the multiples. Chardolini is available in 75cl bottles (rsp: £1.29) and 1.5ltr bottles (£2.49). It has 7.5% abv. Marketing manager Andrew Carlill said: “We thought the time was right to move into the perry market because of all the drinks sectors it is one of the most buoyant. “Its volume sales were up 13% last year.” {{DRINKS }}
