In July, Astonish was named Household Goods Brand of the Year at The Grocer Gold Awards

Award-winning household and personal care brand Astonish is poised to make its Tesco debut, having bagged listings for 10 cleaning products.

Seven core Astonish lines including Window & Glass Cleaner, Pomegranate & Raspberry Antibacterial and White Vinegar Zesty Citrus will land in 200 stores from 7 October – alongside specialist trio Oven & Grill Cleaner, Hob Cream Cleaner and Extra Strength Mould Blast Stain Remover. Rsps range from £1 to £4.

The launch into the UK’s largest supermarket signified “a key milestone” for the West Yorkshire brand, it said. The lineup would “provide consumers with a cost-effective range of products to effectively tackle all areas of cleaning throughout the home”.

Astonish is currently listed by the likes of Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons, Waitrose, Poundland and Home Bargains. It began 2024 with the February launch of 16 SKUs across homecare and personal care – including a four-strong range of Toilet Fresh gel and three Shower Créme variants.

The following month, the brand teamed up with The Only Way is Essex to be the reality show’s sponsor for two series. It saw humorous Astonish idents bookending ad breaks, using Barbie dolls to recreate common scenes from the show.

In July, Astonish was named Household Goods Brand of the Year at The Grocer Gold Awards, where it was praised for its ambition, sales growth and affordable portfolio.

“Launching into Tesco stores marks a significant achievement for us,” said Astonish CEO Howard Moss. “Partnering with major retailers is a key focus of our growth strategy as we look to expand our market presence and continue our mission of offering cost-effective cleaning essentials to shoppers.”

The brand had “seen a significant increase over the past few years in retailers choosing to stock Astonish products, due to increased demand”, he added. “Which just goes to show the complete trust both retailers and consumers have in our brand.”
