She noted: "A lot of shelves were empty or nearly empty and at one point ten managers were filling them. She could not find the Old El Paso fajita dinner kit.

tesco Bradley Stoke Centre, Avon
3 Our shopper was not able to fill her shopping basket when she visited the Tesco superstore at the Bradley Stoke Centre in Bradley Stoke, Avon. The store had sold out of McCain Smiles during a half- price promotion. She was also unable to find Paxo stuffing and Branston pickle in the sizes she was looking for.

sainsbury's Rayleigh Weir, Benfleet, Essex
0 Sainsbury's Rayleigh Weir store in Benfleet, Essex, was going through a major refurbishment when our shopper visited. She said that some aisles were cluttered as a result. However, this did not affect her shopping and she was able to find all the items she was looking for without difficulty.

0 Our mystery shopper at this busy city centre Waitrose store was not able to find all the items she needed. The store does not stock Wall's Viennetta. Waitrose also offered Brussels pâté only in a plastic bag, as opposed to the tub she was looking for.
