Avana Bakeries, a subsidiary of RHM, has appointed Lance Burn as managing director.
RHM has invested to improve efficiencies at Avana, which supplies own label and personalised cakes for M&S, the retail catering market and restaurant chains.
Burn will be responsible for ensuring that the investment results in growth and improved customer relations. He joins Avana from French glass materials company Saint Gobain where he was managing director for three years.
RHM has also brought in Jill Casebury as marketing director for Manor Bakeries. Casebury joins from Quaker Oats and will work alongside managing director Gary Saunders and finance director Julian Momen to improve brand awareness and innovation.
