Bacofoil has returned to the small screen for the first time in 30 years as part of a £2.7m push for its flagship ‘non-stick’ foil.
The ad, which made its debut yesterday and is running across 60 channels including ITV and Channel 4 during key shows such as Coronation Street and Loose Women, highlights Bacofoil Non-Stick Foil’s “no hassle, fuss-free cooking” credentials.
It features a foil-lined tray to showcase the ‘product in action’, with different types of oven food slipping on the foil, such as a ‘sausage roll’, ‘waf-fall’ and ‘chicken drum non-stick’, alongside a “The one with the Non-Stick coating” strap.
Marketing director Paul Feery said: “This is the first time Bacofoil has invested in TV advertising for over 30 years so we were keen to ensure the advert was as impactful as possible and showed exactly what our product does best.”
The commercial is being supported with social media and PR activity, including a partnership with celebrity chef Dean Edwards, who has produced a series of recipe videos.
